An Era Comes to an End 

After 15 very successful years charter-fishing the waters of Martha’s Vineyard, from the rockpiles and musselbeds of Squibnocket, to the canyons south for tuna, I have decided to re-locate to South Florida (Naples) and try my hand at fishing light tackle in the backcountry waters for Tarpon, Snook and Redfish and many other species of fish.

         I am very grateful  and lucky to have had the opportunity to fish with so many great people, from the families with young kids to the experienced  fisherman. I especially enjoyed watching all of the kids grow up and become good fisherman, seeing their happy and excited faces as I pulled their huge (to them) stripers over the rail and into the boat. It was always hard to tell who’s smile was bigger the kid’s or Dad and Grampa’s.

         As for all of the experienced crews that came back to fish with me year after year, I really enjoyed the challenge of trying to put them into more and bigger fish than they caught on the last years trip. With them I was able to try new tricks, modify old techniques and look for new fishing spots.Fishing with them made me stay on top of my game

A New Era Begins

          To all who have fished with me over the years in Menemsha, I hope that you will come join me in South Florida for some more fantastic fishing. I will be fishing an area from just south of Marco Island  well into the “10,000 Islands”.This area encompasses hundreds of square miles of mangrove creeks, channels and bays teeming with beautiful birds and hungry fish. We will be fishing with light tackle spinning and flyrods for Tarpon, Snook, Redfish, Permit and a host of other  fish. I have scaled down from the old “Flashy Lady” to a fast and very shallow running Maverick  flats boat. I can guarantee that you will enjoy the experience.

          I want to thank everyone for their business these many, many years, all the great friendships that I have made and also an incredible number of unforgettable memories.
